The executive members of Corporate Activity Club (CAC) for the year 2015 are delighted to have successfully organized several events during the past calendar year in spite of logistical and technical difficulties wrought by the great earthquake of April/May. Members from cross-functional teams in the Deerwalk family took active interest in all the events organized by the club evident from a large number of participants for each event.

The executive committee for the Corporate Activity Club (CAC) for the year 2014 was formed in the first week of January 2014. The goals of the club are to organize recreational activities and other interesting events for the employees of Deerwalk as a departure from the monotony of everyday routine. It also helps foster a sense of intimacy and camaraderie across cross-functional teams. CAC is proud to have successfully completed a number of events in the year 2014.
A long time had passed since the members of Corporate Activity Club (CAC) had planned of organizing a blood donation programme in the premises of Deerwalk. This year we were finally able to realize this dream in co-ordination with Social Services Club (SSC) of Deerwalk Institute of Technology (DWIT) and Nepal Red Cross Society. The event was sponsored by Deerwalk Social Welfare Network (DWSN).
On a bright spring Sunday, the Deerwalkers went on a picnic to Tribhuwan Park, Thankot. This year, our President Jeff Gasser, and Chief Operating Officer Bill Higgins, joined us for the event. It was a good opportunity for the employees to interact with them.
Human Computer Interaction (HCI), is a field of study which aims to facilitate the interaction of users, whether experts or novices, with computers. It improves user experience by identifying factors that helps reduce the learning curve for new users and also provides provisions such as keyboard shortcuts and other navigational aids for trained users.
