Hiking is quite the tradition here at Deerwalk. We walk every weekend. A hiking coordinator is assigned, interested participants invited, and some of the most exotic destinations in Nepal explored. We then publish reports, pictures, and videos of our journeys at EverestUncensored.org, a comprehensive guide to Hiking in Nepal.
The date was the 14th of November, and the Deerwalk hiking crew was preparing for yet another adventure. We set offto Kalinchowk, at a height of 3788m. As we progressed, we encountered beautiful, scenic landscape. We headed to KhadiChowr. You would be forgiven for thinking it was Khasa, what with the Chinese goods galore. From there, we walked to Mudey, a small bazaar at the top of a hill.
Jan 17, 2010 is the day that I would remember as the moment when we crossed our physical limits and showed that will power is stronger than anything else. Yes I am talking about the hiking to Chisapani, a long, adventurous and simultaneously pain staking and enjoyable journey. A remarkable assiduous effort of the deerwalk team which I am really proud of. Honestly speaking I am not much of a blogger, I don’t even have my own blog. But I kinda feel very much excited for this write up.
This is a wonderfully scenic loop at any time of year. The scenery along the way to your destination is constantly changing and is a source of unending delight. The hike from Aabu Khaireni to Manakamana temple and back was great fun for the team also. The hike, a three hour walk to the summit was enjoyed by one and all. We stayed up at the temple for lunch and then began our descent.
On September 18, 2009, everyone at the office were completely engrossed in their work through out the day because it was the day for the company excursion and all of us wanted to finish our work on time. At 5 PM, we wrapped up our tasks and headed towards the vehicle we had reserved for the trip. The trip to Nagarkot.
